I noticed I have some new follower's thanks to my BFF/boss Kim.
Hello, and welcome to the most boring blog of all time! haha
It's true though.
You will quickly realize I'm not that interesting of a blogger.
And I certainly don't have lot's of pictures of super cute kiddos to post.
But I thought I would give you a quick run through of who I am.
Although, Kim already did a pretty good job of filling you in.
I have been Sophia & Lily's nanny for the past 14 months.
I can't say anything else about them or I will start sobbing.
My husband and I are moving to Texas at the end of this month.
He grew up there. I have only gone to visit three times.
One of those trips was only for 36 hours.
The most consecutive days I have spent there are six .
And yet, I thought it would be a good idea to move there.
Now you can see that I am certifiably crazy.
We have been TTC for almost 18 months.
I currently have 20 friends that are pregnant, and no, I'm not exaggerating.
Of them, not one has dealt with infertility. I guess I am the lucky winner of that title.
We are about to embark on our first IUI cycle this coming Monday.
I hope and pray it works, but I'm very doubtful.
I'm generally a sarcastic, smart ass type person.
I very much enjoy alcohol...Jack & Coke, Sangria, Absolut pear & sprite..just to name a few.
I don't have any pets because our current apartment won't allow us to.
Travis and I live in a 542 sq.ft apartment, and I firmly believe if we can survive that,
we can make it through just about anything together.
And although I'm clearly not pregnant, I have more baby gear that people with a 6 month old.
My sister and I talk to each other in British accents 98% of the time.
I deal with wicked anxiety.
I've seen six therapist's in my lifetime.
My husband tells me I don't have a filter, and it's very true.
So that's me in nutshell.
Thanks for stopping by.
I will try not to bore the ever loving crap out of you.
But I can't make any promises.
popping over from Kim's blog....wishing you the best in your IUI and new life in Texas!
ReplyDeleteI, too, bore the IF title in my group and then took a new title MISCARRIAGE with the loss of our twins so when I say I get it, I really do GET IT. It is tough and sometimes still I can't bare to get on Facebook.
Good Luck!
Just visiting from Kim's blog. You had me at "i don't have a filter". ;) Best of luck TTC. We struggled too, for almost a year. Then it just kind of happened..and twins. I am thinking and praying for you in these hard times. I know it feels shitty. I know you are angry to see pregnant people (I sure as hell was). Good luck in the journey that lies ahead.
ReplyDeleteI see some familiar faces in here! Woo hoo. But dude, your sobbing comment made me sob. In Happiness Nails. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn! Coming over to follow you from Kim's blog. I just wanted to wish you luck with the upcoming cycle. You've got a lot of people out there thinking of you...maybe that'll help in some small way.

Good luck with the IUI on Monday!
ReplyDeleteHello! Just saying Hi! I live in Frisco, TX. Seriously, you are moving to an oven! Ha! August is normally hot but this year has been over the top. It gets better and you do get used to the heat, trust me. And if you think for one minute that your not going to end up saying ya'll forget it! You will! Ha! Good luck on your IUI. I did IVF and have twin girls that are a week younger than Lily and Sophia. That is why I got hocked on Dish Baby. Anyway, can't wait to hear all about your pg and baby/ies!!!!

Jenn... don't be afraid of Texas. I moved there on a whim in 1999 and stayed for 3 years. I'd go back TOMORROW if I could. I lived in Dallas... and if you're going there can tell you some good places to go. Just stay AWAY FROM THE TOLLWAY! I ended up spending nearly $60 in quarters one day because I got lost! haha
ReplyDeleteYOU. ARE. AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeleteHello! Im a newbie from Kims blog too. Nice to "meet" you ;) Best wishes on your journey to parenthood. From everything I've heard you are going to be an amazing mother!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Amanda
